Hi, I’m Carl, proprietor of Elite Driver Training. I became a driving instructor in 1998 after spending 12 years in the IT business.

Since qualifying as an ADI I have enjoyed the work immensely. Yes, it is much harder than I

first imagined, but very rewarding. I have a very good reputation with all my current and former pupils as my business is built on recommendations. I feel that if I treat each pupil as an individual and help out wherever I can, he/she is more likely to recommend me to friends.

I'm a very calm and patient person and never raised my voice nor shouted at a pupil. I like pupils to enjoy lessons and try to make them as fun and interesting as possible. I use various visual teaching aids to make learning more interesting so that the pupil is able to understand what I require them to be able to do.

I never use a pupils lesson time to run errands nor do I have more than one pupil in the car at any one time.

My current pass rate is far higher than the current national average. I am also a member of the RoSPA Advanced Driver's Association after passing my advanced driving test (which has to be re-taken every three years)
